PT Bahtera Sentra Niagatama: Compliance-First Static Website for a Regulated B2B Supplier

PT Bahtera Sentra Niagatama (PT BSN) is a GDP-certified raw material supplier serving regulated industries including pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, personal care, and veterinary. Established in 2015 and GDP certified since 2018, the company operates in a space where trust, clarity, and regulatory readiness matter more than marketing noise.

This project began as a static website build in 2021, designed for long-term reliability and credibility.
The site’s content and structure were later expanded and refined into its current one-page scroll format, with updates continuing through 2026, while retaining the same stability-first foundation.

Business Context

In regulated B2B industries, websites serve a different purpose than consumer brands:

  • They validate legitimacy
  • Support procurement and partnership discussions
  • Communicate compliance scope and operational seriousness

PT BSN did not require frequent visual refreshes or experimental interactions.
They needed a stable, low-risk digital presence that could support the business for years without becoming a maintenance burden.

Strategic Approach

The goal was not conversion speed, but confidence.

Key principles established in the initial build — and preserved through later updates:

  • Static over dynamic — reducing security risk, maintenance, and content drift
  • Scroll-based structure — a single, linear narrative that is easy to audit and review
  • Compliance-forward messaging — GDP certification, GMP sourcing, documentation readiness
  • Operational clarity — services, products, and contact information always accessible

Information Architecture (Current One-Page Scroll)

The website is structured as a single, continuous flow:

  • Hero & Positioning

Partner of choice for raw material supply across regulated industries

  • Services

1. Understanding client needs
2. Precision in service
3. Trusted quality from GMP-certified manufacturers

  • Company Profile

1. Established in 2015
2. GDP certified since 2018
3. Vision, mission, and operational values

  • Products & Capabilities

Clear categorization of:
1. Pharmaceutical APIs
2. Specialty APIs
3. Excipients
4. Nutraceuticals & food additives
5. Local anesthetics & topical agents

  • Portfolio & Trust Signals

Emphasis on quality standards, documentation readiness (GMP, DMF), and long-term partnerships

  • Contact & Operations

Direct communication channels, business hours, and formal contact details

This structure reflects how B2B buyers in regulated industries evaluate suppliers:
credibility first, detail second.

Design Decisions

  • Neutral, restrained visual language
  • High-contrast, readable typography
  • Minimal animation and visual effects
  • Emphasis on clarity over decoration

The design intentionally avoids trends that could undermine seriousness or age poorly.

Development Choices

  • Static HTML foundation for reliability and longevity
  • No CMS dependency
  • Low hosting and maintenance overhead
  • Fast load times and minimal failure points

This technical base allowed the site’s content to evolve over time without requiring architectural changes.

Outcomes

  • A clear digital presence supporting procurement and partnership discussions
  • Reduced long-term technical risk and maintenance cost
  • Website continues to function as a stable reference point years after launch
  • Still relevant and usable through multiple content updates up to 2026

Why This Project Matters

This project reflects SIMPLITES’ approach to regulated-industry work:

  • Start from the operational reality of the business
  • Choose technology based on risk and longevity, not trends
  • Design for clarity, trust, and calm usage

Not every business needs a complex system.
Some need a quiet, dependable tool that keeps working.

Reflection

PT Bahtera Sentra Niagatama’s website demonstrates that good digital work does not need to be loud or frequently reinvented.
In regulated industries, restraint is a feature — and stability is value.
