Simplife Recipe Privacy Policy

Effective: 14 October 2026. The short version Simplife Recipe keeps your recipes and everything you enter on your own device. We do not run servers for this app, we do not have user accounts, and we cannot see your recipes, pantry, menus or photos. The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which is the only third party that receives information about your device. Details are below. Who we are Simplife Recipe is published by Simplites. You can reach us at simplites@gmail.com. What the app stores on your device Everything you add or import is saved in a private database file inside the app on your phone: recipes, ingredients and their prices, your pantry and stock, shopping list, menus, saved menus, meal plans, notes, and your own ratings and cooked counts. This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. It leaves your phone only if you export it yourself. Photos and files When you add a photo to a recipe, the app uses your phone's photo picker or camera and saves a copy of the picture in the app's own storage. The app does not scan your gallery. When you import a recipe file or export your recipes, you choose the file or the save location yourself. Shared posts and links If you share a post or link (for example from TikTok, Instagram or YouTube) to Simplife Recipe, the app contacts that website directly from your phone to read the caption and the thumbnail, so that you can turn it into a recipe. That website will see your IP address and basic device details, as it would when you open the link in a browser. We do not receive or store any of this. Fonts The app downloads its text fonts from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address when a font is requested. Advertising Simplife Recipe shows ads using Google AdMob. To show ads, measure how they perform and prevent fraud, AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. AdMob may use cookies or similar technologies. You are in control of ad personalisation. On Android, open Settings, then Google, then Ads, to reset your advertising ID or to opt out of ad personalisation. How Google uses this information is described in the Google Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy and at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Links to other sites Links to shops, recipe sources or other websites open in your browser. What happens on those sites is governed by their own policies, not ours. What we do not do We do not sell your data. The app has no accounts, no analytics service and no crash reporting service. We do not collect your name, email address, contact list or precise location. Children Simplife Recipe is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Data deletion Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the app removes its database and photos from your phone. Any export file you saved remains where you saved it until you delete it. To manage data held by Google for advertising, use your Google account's ad settings. Changes to this policy If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the effective date above. Contact simplites@gmail.com
